DESCRIPTION
The challenge was to create a contemporary style home with a simple but functional design highlighting the views from all areas of the main house. The main house is located on the highest part of the lot leaving the guest bedrooms on the lowest end. The union of these two areas was created through a garden, until the highest point of the main house was reached and in that spot a fountain with a waterfall effect was created which led into a covered terrace with panoramic views.
The dining room and living room areas were created and divided by a double fireplace which integrates those two spaces by illuminated side corridors using block skylights of natural light. The laminated quarry stone (cantera) floors emit a warm ambiance and feeling.
